Three new F&B lettings on the 110-acre estate in London’s Marylebone

Award-winning Devon health retreat, Yeotown, has signed a lease for its first stand-alone eatery taking 1,230 sq ft over two floors at 40-42 Chiltern Street . Clarette, offering French-style sharing plates and an extensive selection of wine by both the bottle and the glass has taken 3,180 sq ft of space at 44 Blandford Street. And butcher and grill, Boxcar has signed up for 1,180 sq ft over two floors in New Quebec Street.

A redevelopment of three units at 10, 11 and 12 New Quebec Street into a new consolidated restaurant at 11-12 New Quebec Street and shop at 10 New Quebec Street is also on track for completion this autumn. In addition, three newly developed units on Old Quebec Street, which connects Seymour Street to Oxford Street, are due for completion in late spring. The redevelopment includes two new A3 restaurants, and an A1 retail unit.

Philip Norris, head of retail for The Portman Estate, said: “We’ve already invested £120m over the past six years to transform this special area of the West End. Independent retail and leisure makes up an important part of the Marylebone character and these new additions show we continue to attract an exciting variety of new names and concepts. Dining out has become an increasingly important part of the shopping and leisure experience. We believe these new operators will complement perfectly the existing restaurants, cafés and delis across the estate.”

Agent for Chiltern Street and Old Quebec Street is Nash Bond, the agent for New Quebec Street and Seymour Place is CWM, and the joint agents for 11-12 New Quebec Street are Nash Bond and Shelley Sandzer.
