Trio of fashion openings and upsizes at Queensgate, Peterborough
Lendlease and Invesco Real Estate have agreed lettings on 30,200 sq ft of space at the Peterborough mall, currently undergoing an £8m refurb.
Following strong performance from its existing Queensgate store, Pandorahas taken an additional 2,700 sq ft store opposite Boots in East Square, retaining the existing store for its Argento brand.
The Pandora upsize is complemented by two new additions to Queensgate’s line-up. Ann Summers, the lingerie retailer, has opened a 2,500-sq ft store next to JD Sports. Completing the set of additions is New Look, which opened a 25,000-sq ft store opposite Marks & Spencer last month.
Guy Thomas, head of retail asset management at Lendlease, said: “These latest openings are great additions to Queensgate. The upsizing of Pandora reaffirms the centre’s success for the brand as a location, adding a new fascia and enabling them to offer a more comprehensive jewellery range for customers. Together with other leading high street and premium names that have joined the scheme in recent months, Queensgate’s brand portfolio continues to set the bar regionally, fuelling demand from leading brands.”
CBRE and Time Retail Partners represented Queensgate. Stephen Kane acted for Pandora, and Rapleys for Ann Summers.
