New Swedish owners unveil unified branding for GVA and Europa

Apleona has been chosen as the new name of the Bilfinger Building and Facility segment that was sold to Swedish financial investor EQT earlier this year. The brand was unveiled by new CEO Jochen Keysberg at the Expo Real real estate show in Munich. Apleona is active in more than 30 countries with 22,000 employees generating revenue of €2.5bn.

Keysberg said: “We are proud that we managed to find a pleasant-sounding, internationally applicable and memorable name. Our goal is to establish Apleona internationally as a strong brand for integrated real-estate services.”

Keysberg said he wants to move the internationalisation of the business units forward, deliver increasingly integrated services to customers and further expand its technical competences in the field of energy efficiency. The company will also take on a leading role in digital technology.
