Californian cosmetics brand to open boutique in time for Christmas
Grosvenor Europe has announced that Urban Decay, the 20-year-old Californian cosmetics brand, is opening its first boutique in Liverpool with a 1,000-sq ft store located on the corner of Liverpool One’s Paradise Street and Peter’s Lane. Urban Decay will open in time for Christmas.
Commenting on the latest signing, Miles Dunnett from Grosvenor Europe said: “Urban Decay is another great addition to Liverpool One’s line-up of leading international brands. Their arrival is a reflection of our ongoing strategy to identify and secure the very best retailers and restaurants, and also reaffirms Liverpool One’s position as one of the most in-demand destinations in the UK.”
The news follows the announcement last week that Jack Wolfskin, Lindt, Smiggle and Cosy Club are also opening stores on Paradise Street. Together with Urban Decay, 20 new brands have committed to Liverpool One so far this year.
The news also coincides with the announcement that Liverpool ONE is out-performing last year in the three key metrics of footfall, overall sales and catering sales, which are up 2.5 per cent, 5.5 per cent and 7.5 per cent respectively year-to-date compared to the same period in 2015.
