Andrew Norton takes the helm at High Wycombe
Eden Shopping Centre has appointed Andrew Norton as its new centre director. Norton has 10 years of experience in Centre management with managing agents Savills. During his last appointment, as centre manager of the Stratford Centres in Londonís East End, Norton successfully negotiated the London 2012 Olympics and repositioned the centreís offer to compliment the Westfield Stratford development. Norton then successfully oversaw the implementation of the public consultation for the proposed redevelopment of the Stratford Centre, which was 100 per cent let on his departure in July.
On speaking of his appointment, Norton said, ďThe Eden Shopping Centre is a great shopping and leisure environment which is managed by an experienced team who have extensive knowledge of the area. Iím keen to take the scheme to the next level by implementing new ideas and initiatives. With 127 shops, a varied restaurant and leisure offer and almost 14 million visitors a year, Eden is a strong performer in a wealthy and competitive catchment. Iím excited about the challenge and look forward to delivering even greater success.Ē
Andrew has taken over from former Centre Director, Daniel Tomkinson, who was appointed to the Eden Shopping Centre in 2007, 12 months before it reopened following its extensive refurbishment and expansion.
