New wins for Access Point and Space to trade

North-West based marketing and advertising company Access Point has signed an exclusive commercialisation contract with Derwent Estates covering walkden town centre and eight retail parks in the north of England. Access Point will be exclusively responsible for commercialisation opportunities on the sites as well as experiential events, starting with the ‘Summer of Sports’, just in time for the Rio Olympics.

Diane Whalley, head of commercialisation at Access Point said: “Derwent Estates and Access Point were both founded in 1997 and since then we’ve both been very busy building up our skills, portfolios and experience to get to the place we are now. We both felt like it was time to start taking commercialisation seriously and this partnership will help us both achieve our goals making Derwent Estates’ spaces community hubs for both local traders and national brands”

At the same time Space to trade has won the commercialisation contract at Chelmsley Wood shopping centre in Birmingham, bringing its growing portfolio to eleven sites. The agency now manages commercialisation at five sites in Scotland and six in England, including The Pentagon in Kent, Fareham shopping centre, Hampshire and The Vancouver Quarter in King’s Lynn.
