MJ Mapp appointed by Salmon Harvester to manage two shopping centres

MJ Mapp has been appointed by Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund to manage two shopping centres in the West Midlands.

Work has started on the redevelopment of the 220,000-sq ft Cathedral Square, Worcester. The development focuses on the southern end of the scheme and will feature seven new restaurants overlooking a public square, a gym and remodelled shop units. Existing tenants such as Travelodge and H&M will remain trading throughout.

St Andrews Square, Droitwich is a 150,000-sq ft shopping centre in the heart of Droitwich Spa with a retail line up of New Look, WH Smiths, Argos and Boots.

John Michell, head of retail management said; “This is a great new instruction for us as we continue to grow our specialist retail management team. We are particularly excited about our involvement on the redevelopment of Cathedral Square where we will bring to bear our considerable management set-up expertise to ensure a smooth transition of the new development into management.”
