Bilfinger GVA appointed to provide property management services at Riverlights, Derby
Bilfinger GVA has been appointed to provide property management services at the 199,008-sq ft Riverlights mixed-use scheme in Derby.
Completed in 2010, the Derby Riverlights scheme comprises two hotels let to Holiday Inn and Hampton by Hilton, a Genting casino, four restaurant units and a convenience store ranging from 3,600 to over 8,000 sq ft and Derby City’s bus station which serves 12 million people every year.
It has recently been purchased by Moorfield’s MREF III fund. Moorfield plans to rejuvenate the building by undertaking a full refurbishment of the façade and by providing extensive landscaping services.
Bilfinger GVA director Sam Lawrence said: "Riverlights is a fantastic scheme which is prominently positioned at the heart of Derby. Moorfield will be looking for retail occupiers for the vacant ground floor units moving forward, which provides an exciting investment opportunity for prospective vendors.
"We are very much looking forward to working closely with Moorfield, the contractors and occupiers during this busy and exciting period to mark this new chapter."
