Melissa Varley joins JLL’s retail management team

Melissa Varley has been appointed as a director in JLL’s retail management team. 

Melissa joins from Savills, from where she brings six years’ shopping centre management experience working for clients including O&H Properties, Ignis Asset Management and Network Rail. Prior to this she worked at Stiles Harold Williams in the development consultancy team and before that Capita Symonds in the commercial management team.

Her primary responsibilities within the JLL team will be shopping centre management for the Standard Life portfolio including Churchill Square, Brighton.

Jordan Jeffery, head of JLL’s retail management team, said: “The retail management team was formed at the end of last year with the aim of bringing together our expertise in shopping centre, retail park, mixed use, development consultancy and premium asset management to create a new holistic management offer.  Melissa’s depth of experience will add to the strength and expertise of our growing 90 strong team.”
