Meadowhall signs up for Mallcomm

New app to transform retailer communications at Sheffield megamall

Meadowhall in Sheffield, one of the UK’s top 10 shopping centres, is to implement Toolbox Marketing’s retailer communication tool, Mallcomm. The centre will be launching the app in January and becomes the latest UK scheme to us the app, which is already in use by some of the leading shopping centres in Europe and Turkey.

The British Land scheme has over 280 retail stores, with more than 6,000 staff, as well as numerous facilities, security and other agencies working in the centre and retail director, Mark Bruce, said: “We place a lot of pride in our ability to communicate and engage our retailers within Meadowhall. We are delighted to take the step to be able to communicate with them in real-time and build a community environment within the centre. “

And David Fuller, head of digital at Toolbox Marketing, added: “We’ve been looking at ways we can engage retailers with Mallcomm more effectively and the amendments and links we’ve made to incorporate footfall and sales data have been a significant step forward. Integrating existing shopping centre information and using Mallcomm to provide this to the whole shopping centre community, in an engaging and dynamic way, gives the retailers a tool to not only keep up to date with the latest information but also helps them do their jobs more easily and efficiently.”
