  • British Land scoops Landlord of the Year at industry awards

    British Land has been named ‘Landlord Of The Year’ and ‘Service Charge Provider Of The Year’ at the 2009 Property Managers Association (PMA) Retail Awards.  British Land’s success is unique as it is the first time that a landlord has won the two key awards, which are voted for by retailers.

  • SCEPTRE Awards 2010 - Lifetime Achievement Award

    Every year Shopping Centre gives the SCEPTRE Lifetime Achievement Award to an individual who, in the magazine's opinion, has made an outstanding contribution to the shopping centre industry. Shopping Centre is delighted that Capital Shopping Centre is once again sponsoring this major award.

  • SCEPTRE Awards 2010 - Retailer of the Year

    From May 10th 2010, readers of Shopping Centre will be invited to take part in an online poll to decide which of the 10 retailers deserves the title 'Retailer of the Year'. Shopping Centre's Editorial Board will nominate the 10 retailers that will fight it out for this coveted award.

  • SCEPTRE Awards 2010 - Beneficiary Charity

    Tim Langford, Managing Director of JLD Media, the owners of Shopping Centre, has invited Wooden Spoon to become the Beneficiary Charity for the 10th Anniversiary SCEPTRE Awards 2010, which will take place at The Dorchester in London on 22nd June.

  • Liverpool ONE wins Supreme Award

    Westfield London and Liverpool ONE reign supreme at BCSC Gold Awards

    Following a triumphant first year, BCSC awarded both Liverpool ONE and Westfield London with the Supreme Gold Award at Tuesday’s ceremony. This is the first time two in-town schemes have been joint-winners of the top honour.

    Design company BDP celebrates at RICS awards

    BDP, the interdisciplinary design practice behind Liverpool One, enjoyed double success at this year’s RICS Awards. Victoria Square in Belfast, part of BDP’s design portfolio, was awarded a Commendation in the Regeneration category after battling against 14 other shortlisted projects from around the UK.
