New stores sign at Intu Potteries in Stoke-On-Trent
JD Sports has launched a 4,649-sq ft Open store at intu Potteries. The new menswear brand, aimed at 20–30 year olds, focuses on style, quality and price. And House, a local independent vintage ladies fashion store, has taken 1,104 sq ft of space at the centre.
Martin Breeden, regional director at intu, said: “Staffordshire University is moving another 2,500 students to the city making Open’s choice of intu Potteries an ideal location for its target market. And with a catchment of 850,000, the centre will be an excellent place for House to bring new fashion designs to the region.”
A £20m retail and leisure extension is under construction at intu Potteries, with Nando’s, PizzaExpress, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Chiquito, Frankie & Benny’s plus Cineworld all signed up for the new destination.
