Steamer Trading to open first out of town store at Bluewater

Cookware and homeware specialist, Steamer Trading Cookshop, has taken a 3,900 sq ft two-level store on Bluewater’s upper Thames Walk.
The multi-award winning family-run company is due to open what will be its first store in a retail and leisure destination in October.
Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, said: “Steamer Trading is another great addition to Bluewater’s line-up of premium brands. They are a point of difference for Bluewater and join existing brands such as Cath Kidston and John Lewis, in appealing to the large numbers of affluent consumers living in the South East for whom Bluewater is the destination of choice.”
Steamer Trading Cookshop is the latest in a series of leading UK and international brands to open at Bluewater this year, joining Victoria’s Secret, Pink, adidas Homecourt, Jo Malone and Five Guys. In addition, American Eagle is currently fitting out its debut UK store on Bluewater’s lower Thames Walk.
CBRE acted for Bluewater. Steamer Trading Cookshop was represented by Reid Rose Gregory.
