B&M Home opens in Paisley

B&M Home has opened a 25,000 sq ft store at Paisley Retail Park near Glasgow.
Paisley Retail Park is a comprehensive £8m refurbishment of the former Focus DIY store. Previously the unit traded as Great Mills and is understood to have been the very first non-food Tesco store in Scotland.
Tesco Extra have secured consent on the site opposite for a new store which is scheduled to commence on site during 2013.
A further 25,000 sq ft is available at the retail park in the form in units of 6,884 sq ft upwards.
Montagu Evans and Edgerley Simpson Howe represent the developer Alaska Group on behalf of their Luxemburg client.
Martin Gudaitis, head of retail and leisure at Montagu Evans said: “It is great to see such a significant investment in the property, with B&M Home already attracting huge numbers of customers.”
B&M was formed in 1976 and now has over 315 stores in the UK, employing over 10,000 staff. It attracts more than 2 million customers every week.
