Published:  30 May, 2006

Ex-Z, the independent retailer licensed to sell surplus Zara stock, is to open its fourth UK store at Eagle One’s Festival Park factory shopping village in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. It has taken the 5,000 sq ft Unit 22 - 25 on a five-year lease.

The 100,000 sq ft factory outlet centre on the former garden festival site is anchored by Sports World, which recently relocated and expanded its store, Other tenants include Pilot, Select, Claire’s accessories, Julian Graves, Antler & Cotton Traders.

Eagle One’s property director Andy Cutler, reports: “This recent and major expansion by Sports World has enabled us to assemble a unit of 5,000 sq ft for Ex-Z who will ideally strengthen the younger fashion offer within our scheme and we anticipate this can lead to a further strengthening of the fashion offer via more new lettings.”

Markham Vaughan Gillingham is letting agent and Sanderson Weatherall advised Ex-Z
